Bassu first opened it's doors in December 2013 with Ardia Wilkinson bringing the 'ayurvedic philosophy" into the heart of Morpeth.

Senior stylist Alex Dawson joined the team in early 2017 and brought with her, a wealth of knowledge gathered from working in City Centre Salons .
​
Assistant Manager , Stylist & Lead Colourist Abbie Charlton , who joined the team also in 2017, is creating fantastic colour and amazing styles alongside the rest of the team.
Abbie is also a qualified Hair Extension Technician specialising in Mico & Nano rings and Pre bonded hair extensions.

Senior Stylist Claire Brown joined Bassu in June 2022. she has over 25 years experience in the industry and is an expert in Pre bonded, Nano and Micro ring extensions.
Stylist/Colourist Olivia joined our team in August 2022 and will be highlighting and freehand colouring along with cutting. and hairstyling.

Our partnership with the prestigious brand AVEDA means we care for your hair, skin and body with products that are naturally derived, made from pure flower and plant essence. The "AVEDA rituals" have been a big success in the salon, with complimentary hand, neck and shoulder massages on offer, it's easy to unwind and relax in the calming environment.
